In Fig. 1 the layer 12 is stainless steel, Ni, Ni alloy, or Cu-Ni alloy. The layers 14, 14<SP>1</SP> are of low carbon steel. The bonding is effected by rolling and sintering. The laminate material may be plated with copper and wound into a tube and heated, to form a brake tubing (Fig. 5, not shown). |
