PURPOSE:To efficiently retrieve a desired sentence. CONSTITUTION:This sentence retrieval device retrieves a sentence from plural sentences preserved in a data base 2 and is provided with an input part 1 to which symbols and digits determined by the ASCII code, sentences, etc., are inputted, the data base 2 where sentences, keywords, resembling words to which prescribed information are added, etc., are preserved correspondingly to one another, and a CPU 3 which retrieves resembling words of the keyword inputted from the input part 1 from the data base 2 at the time of document retrieval and selects a resembling word based on prescribed information added to retrieved resembling words and retrieves a sentence including the selected resembling word from the data base 2 to display it on a display part 4. |
