PURPOSE:To obtain a water-soluble plasticizer making the processability of a ceramic green sheet favorable because of enabling the green sheet performance to be controlled with a small amounts of water in molding said sheet with water as a medium, also low in hygroscopicity and good in compatibility with binder. CONSTITUTION:This water-soluble plasticizer contains a compound of generic formula I: R-O-(CH2CH2O)nSO3M or generic formula II: R-O-(CH2CH2O)nCH2 COOM (where, R is alkyl, alkylphenyl or polystyrylphenyl; M is ammonium or amine; n is an integer of >=1). |
