FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: vernier time-interval counter is meant to measure time intervals between pulses during continuous operation with high accuracy and speed, it can be used to test computer equipment and data transmission devices. Given counter has reference oscillator, two vernier generators with phase-lock control, key counter and two vernier counters, two correction units, analog-to-digital converters, key, retrieval counter, registration and control unit. Increased accuracy in process of long-term measurement of time intervals fed in large amount with high intensity is achieved thanks to frequency control of vernier generators.
