<p>The tool for comminuting solid materials, eg plastic or waste material, comprises a cutter (a), and a counter blade (2) in which are disposed air-conducting channels (5) which end on eone side immediately adjacent to the cutting edge of a cutter bar (3) and which lead from the cutter bar through the counter blade into the atmosphere. The channels may end in front of the cutter bar in the direction of feeding of the material to be comminuted, or they may end both in front of and underneath the cutter bar, and they may be connected to each other via a collecting channel extending parallel to the counter blade.</p> |
