PURPOSE:To aim at firmly supporting a main engine and at optimizing the suppression of vibration by using a vibration suppressing device having spring constants longitudinal and transverse of a ship which are a specific number times as large as a spring constant vertical of the ship, respectively, and by fixing rigid members each having more than two pairs of inclined opposing surfaces to the bottoms of a hull and the main engine through resilient rubbers. CONSTITUTION:The spring constants of a vibration suppressing device longitudinal and transverse of a ship are set so as to be 3 to 6 and 0.35 to 0.7 times as large as the spring constant vertical of the ship, respectively. Further, a first rigid member 1 having a projected frame part 7 is secured to the inner surface of the bottom wall of a hull 2 through the intermediary of attaching part 5, 6, and a second rigid part 9 for securing a main engine through an upper stopper is disposed in the center section of the frame member 7. The forward end faces 1a, 9a of the frame member 7 and the second rigid member 9 are formed so as to have inclined opposing surfaces on which resilient rubbers 20 inserted therein with reinforcing plates 22 is secured. Further, rear surfaces 1b, 9b are secured together the resilient rubber 21, in reverse directions to the front surfaces 1a, 9a. Accordingly, it is possible to realize firm fixing of the main engine and ideal balance of suppression of vibration, thereby it is possible to reduce the cost. |
