<p>PURPOSE:To bond a thermoplastic elastomer tightly to a different material by treating an adherend by three specified steps and bringing it into tight contact with the elastomer. CONSTITUTION:An adherend is treated by a process consisting of a first step (a) of treating with a polyisocyanate compd. or a polyepoxy compd., a second step (b) of treating with a thermoplastic polyurethane and a polyepoxy compd., a third step (c) of coating with a thermoplastic polyurethane and a fourth step (d) of bringing the adherend which has been thus treated into tight contact with a thermoplastic elastomer. As the adherend (different material), polymer resin materials such as polyesters and polyamides, metal materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, iron and various metal alloys, and inorg. materials such as glass are suitable. As the adherend, e.g. synthetic fibers including arom. polyamide fibers, glass fibers, metal wires and plates can be cited.</p> |
