Extensible table of oval plan form - has circular plan form when extended

The table of oval plan form is so constructed that it can be extended to form a table of circular plan form. When in its extended form, the table top consists of two inner rectangular panels (4) which together form a square. Four outer segments (1,2) each with a straight inner edge and a curved outer edge fit around this central square. To fold the table to oval form, the central panels (4) are hinged downwards and then together with the legs (5) and outer panels (1) are pushed towards each other with the outer panels (1) sliding under the other pair of outer panels (2). The corners between the panels (2) are filled with quadrant panels. USE - Extensible table.
