Ventilation heat exchanger in outer walls of buildings

The system consists of connected heat exchanger elements (8), each with two apertures (12a,b) connected via an intermediate reservoir (10). One aperture opens on the inside and the other on the outside of the wall (3) defining a room. A ventilator generates a flow through the exchanger elements. The heat exchanger (4) is embedded in a carrier shell (20). It has at least one insulation layer. The intermediate reservoir is formed from vertically perforated bricks (11). Each exchanger element is a modular part, with an enclosing concrete ring (21) having embedded reinforcements (5).
