PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a Ti-containing ultra-low carbon steel slab excellent both in the surface quality and the internal quality. SOLUTION: The method for producing the Ti-containing ultra-low carbon steel slab is provided by which molten steel is decarburized, preliminarily Al-deoxidized and after being subjected to a vacuum-degassing treatment while deoxidizing with Ti, Ca is added and thereafter, a continuous casting is performed, wherein the total circulating quantity in the preliminary Al-deoxidation and the Ti-deoxidation is secured to≥2000 t and also, the continuous casting operation is performed without blowing Ar gas.
