<p>The wheeled trailer has cylinders of propane gas, these supplying a motor driving an electrical alternator. The current enters a control cubicle and feeds the compressor, refrigerating the milk by means of a valve-controlled evaporator around the tank. Condensers heat the water contained in the other tanks. The current also drives a vacuum pump used for milking the animals and a mixer for the fresh milk in the tank. A circulating pump can be driven electrically or direct from the gas (16) and a provision is also made for lighting.</p> |
