PURPOSE:To automate operations and to improve reliability in insulation by a method wherein a tubular insulator rolled round a reel is covered over the leading coil end, cut, closely adhered and then shaped. CONSTITUTION:A leading wire 6 is positioned by a positioning member 9, and a cylindrical guide member 10 is approached to the leading wire 6 thus positioned. A tubular insulator 7 drawn out of a reel 8 through feed rolls 11 is inserted into the cylindrical guide member 10 to cover the tubular insulator 7 over the leading wire 6. Then, the end of the tubular insulator 7 including the leading wire 6 inserted therein is fixedly gripped by a gripping and shaping member 12 and cut by a cutter 13 to be separated from other part. The thus-cut end of the tubular insulator 7 is closely adhered to the leading wire 6 and then shaped by the gripping and shaping member 12. By so doing, it becomes possible to automize insulation treatment for the coil end. |
