AUTOMATIC TRAIN OPERATING METHOD

PURPOSE:To perform energy-saving by setting a lower limit target speed having the least energy consumption to satisfy a target traveling time when passing each ground element. CONSTITUTION:When departing from a station, a target traveling time until stopping at next station is set. Upper limit target speed calculating means 9 calculates an upper limit target speed VTV at the present position of a train and applies it to brake instruction calculating means 10. A lower limit target speed calculating means 16 substracts the energy at the present position by target energy to apply a lower limit target speed VTL to power drive instruction calculating means 17. Target energy calculating means 15 output a target energy consumption by the target traveling time and the saved amounts of the energy consumption whenever the train passes a ground element. In this manner, the high accuracy of the traveling time and the energy-saving can be performed.
