A device (11) is described for subsequently drawing cables into cable-protection tubes (14) which are already fitted with at least one cable. The device (11) has an intermediate base (12) which can be drawn into the protection tube (14), is provided with a hollow bead-shaped longitudinal edge (18, 19) on both sides as a height guide and is provided with a roller (26), which can rotate, on the front side, as a cable guide. In order that it is possible to draw the intermediate base (12) into cable-protection tubes (14) which are laid with relatively small radii of curvature, as well, in a simple manner, using such a device (11), the bead-shaped longitudinal edges (18, 19) are provided with a cavity (21), of circular cross-section, and, at one point on their circumference and over their entire length, with a slot (22). <IMAGE>
