<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a structural member and an image forming apparatus using the same capable of achieving space saving, obtaining high rigidity, and enhancing positional accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: The structural member 130 is constituted by bonding two plate materials 131 manufactured by using the same metallic mold and having the same shape. A bent part 131a is formed on the periphery of the plate material 131, and a projection 131b is formed to be swollen on a plane part 131c being the largest plane part and on lines O1 and O2 being almost center of the plane part 131c. The structural member 130 is constituted by reversing one plate material 131, superposing it on the other plate material 131, superposing them so that their bent parts 131a may be superposed on the top of the projection part 131b, and bonding the top contacting with the top of the projection 131b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
