DUMMY OF NUCLEAR FUELS' PELLET WITH BURNING-UP ABSORBER

摘要

The goal of the design is to form a mock-up of the nuclear fuel pellet with the burnable absorber, which is a sufficiently precise model of reality for neutron-physical experiments and less demanding for consumption of fissionable isotopes. The introduced goal is achieved by the pellet that contains the burnable absorber with the required concentration in its whole volume but the fissionable isotope with the required concentration only in its outer surface layer. The subsurface layers of the mock-up contain nuclear fuel with the decreased concentration of the fissionable isotope.<IMAGE>
