PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device capable of maintaining a highly accurate beam pitch and also capable of constituting a case with an inexpensive resin molded part and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: In a light source device having plural semiconductor lasers 2, 2, a base 1 to which these semiconductor lasers are fixed, collimating lenses 3, 3 which are fixed to the base 1 and are respectively provided in front of respective semiconductor lasers, an optical element for use in synthesizing beams 5 making laser beams to be emitted from the collimating lenses 3, 3 close beams and a case 9 which is attached to the base 1 in order to cover these collimating lenses 3, 3 and the optical element 5, an optical element supporting part 23 holding the optical element 5 is integrally formed in the base 1. The optical element supporting part 23 is integrally formed with lens supporting parts 1b, 1b and the surface 23b of it is parallel with both of the optical axis and a beam pitch and the optical element for use in synthesizing beams 5 is fixed to it with a adhesive layer. |
