A built-in sink has at least one basin having first surface areas that are subjected to strong stresses during use, such as the bottom of the basin, and second surface areas that are less strongly stressed during use, such as the sidewalls of the basin. The first surface areas (12, 26, 22a, 32a, 34a, 36a) are provided with a three-dimensional surface structure and the second surface areas (16, 28, 34, 36) are smooth. The surface structure of the first areas (12, 26, 22a, 32a, 34a, 36a) is formed by at least approximately straight and parallel furrows (100), and the surface roughness measured in the transversal direction to the longitudinal direction of the furrows exceeds 0.1 um and amounts to about 0.4 um maximum.
|
