摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase cycle discharge capacity of a lithium secondary battery using lithium manganese composite oxide represented by composition formula LixMn2-yMyO4, (M is a transition metal) in a positive electrode. SOLUTION: A lithium manganese composite oxide represented by the composition formula LixMn2-yMyO4 (M is transition metal, with x being in 1.15-1.25 range), having specific surface area of 0.05-0.5 m2/g is used as a positive active material. Cycle stability and thermal stability of a battery are increased, and cycle discharge capacity is also increased.
