PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate-making system not causing an error in sticking of an image and character information at the time of plate-making. SOLUTION: Using a soft-ware for writing watermarks, an operator embeds the watermark in image data and stores them in a magneto-optic disk 11. The operator reads out an image 61 having the watermarks embedded therein and stored in the magnet-optic disk 11 and characters such as a commodity code and a dealer code or graphic information which are made to be watermarks, and lays out the image, the characters or the graphics being read, at desired positions. Lastly, the operator prints a laid-out page by an output device 31. Herein the watermarks are binary data showing the characters or the graphics embedded in the image and they are not displayed in the case when the image is displayed ordinarily. When a specific software is used, however, the characters or the graphics are displayed. |
