PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage to the outermost layers of rat-proof and ant-proof cables caused by external forces by bonding either an outside sheath which contains a rat proofing agent or an ant-proofing agent sufficiently to an inside sheath. SOLUTION: In a rat-proof cable, a layer 10 of an adherent polyolefin resin which shows an adhesive property on heating is extruded onto and covers an inside sheath 9 of a polyvinyl chloride or the like. An outside sheath 11 made from a polyvinyl chloride or the like blended with a rat-proofing agent is extruded over and covers the layer 10, with the inside and outside sheathes 9, 11 integrally bonded together via the adherent polyolefin resin layer 10. In an ant-proof cable, an adherent polyolefin resin layer 10 is extruded onto and covers a sheath 12 of a polyvinyl chloride or the like, and an ant-proof layer 13 of nylon or the like is extruded over and covers the layer 10, with the sheath 12 and the ant-proof layer 13 integrally bonded together via the adherent polyolefin resin layer 10. |
