PURPOSE: To reduce inductance equivalently by arranging going and coming current paths closely in parallel so as to cancel magnetic flux produced by going and coming currents in mutually reverse directions. CONSTITUTION: A receptacle is equipped with a socket 16 having a cylindrical side face portion on the inner face of which a contact piece is arranged and a plane portion in which an opening is set, a spacer 20 having an opening and fitted in the opening of the socket 16, and a screw rod 18 on the inner face of which a contact piece is arranged and on the outer face of which a screw is formed. When a plug and the receptacle are coupled, a pin portion is electrically connected to the contact piece in the screw rod 18, a housing is electrically connected to the contact piece in the socket 16, and the spacer 20 and an insulating sleeve 24 surround the body portion of a conductive shaft 22 sufficiently so that a conductive shaft 21 and the socket 16, and a conductive housing 26 are mutually insulated and form conductive paths closely in parallel.
