PURPOSE:To perform the batch correction of the formats of all areas related to a copy origin/copy destination other than one area to be corrected with its format in the same way only by correcting the format of one area concerned related to the copy origin/copy destination when the format information set every data arrangement area is corrected. CONSTITUTION:In a text memory 7-1, the format data is set every document arrangement area. When an area copy is performed, a CPU 3 groups copy origin areas and copy destination areas by taking correspondence between the areas based on group members. Subsequently, when the format data in a certain area with in the group is corrected, the CPU 3 detects all other areas which belong to the same group. A batch correction is performed for the format data of each area detected in this way in accordance with corrected format data. |
