PURPOSE:To achieve the improvement of the response of ink jet by making the thermal transfer efficiency better than that in heating using a heating element, by a method wherein ink is impregnated in the plural penetrated holes formed in a ribbon and the ink is jetted from the penetrated holes at specific positions by pressurizing an electrode head on the specific positions of the ribbon to perform the printing. CONSTITUTION:The electrode head 3 consisting of two electrodes impressed with a specific voltage, the ribbon 1 formed by conductive material, plural number of the penetrated holes 7 penetrating the ribbon 1, and an ink 2 impregnated in the penetrated holes 7 are provided. The electrode head 3 is equipped with a positive electrode 4 and a negative electrode 5 via an insulating component 6. By making the electrode head 3 so formed as to have the above mentioned two electrodes stick to specific positions of the ribbon 1, the ribbon itself is heated by impressing a voltage to the electrodes 4 and 5 and the ink is jetted. Therefore, the thermal transfer efficiency is improved, the response of ink jetting is enhanced, and the high speed of the printing mechanism can be realized. |
