The radiation burner is for gaseous fuel, having a double-skinned housing (1) of trapezium section and open to one side, with inner reflecting walls (8) and containing a mixing chamber (20) for the fuel and air. A ceramic burner plate (27) with combustion passages is connected to the chamber, with a radiation grille (28) on its radiation side. A feed for air and fuel to the chamber has a fuel pipe with injector nozzle and a mixing tube (18). The nozzle and tube are towards the edge (12) of the housing open side, and between the tube and the mixing chamber is an intermediate chamber (19), over whose wall (22) the hot exhaust gases flow, pre-heating the fresh mixture of fuel and air. |
