<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a PSTN connecting device which is simple and inexpensive by containing a splitter in a part where a telephone terminal and an ATU-R are connected to a public telephone network (PSTN) in the case of providing data service through an ADSL transmission system. SOLUTION: A splitter 200 for ATU-R which is a subscriber's terminal of an ADSL transmission system consists of direct current cutoff and a high pass filtering part and offers a signal from a PSTN to an ATU-R. The splitter 200 can be internally mounted in a jack 204 and when the jack 204 is connected to a normal socket that is connected to the PSTN, the PSTN is connected to a connection terminal C and the terminal C is connected to the ATU-R through the splitter 200. Then, a signal from the PSTN is processed by the splitter 200 and after that it is offered to the ATU-R.</p> |
