PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foam synthetic resin-embedded body capable of preventing traces of foam from remaining on the surface of a concrete slab after curing and used for a hollow concrete slab construction method. SOLUTION: The foam synthetic resin-embedded body 1 is positioned between an upper reinforcement 5 and a lower reinforcement 6 to which main reinforcements are joined in a lattice shape. Concrete is deposited from the upper side of the embedded body to form a hollow concrete slab. The overall surface of the foam synthetic resin-embedded body 1 starting at a position apart 100 mm from its top part downward is covered with a waterproof layer (excluding those in which the overall surface of the synthetic resin-embedded body is covered with the waterproof layer).
