PURPOSE:To obtain a paper cup which is low in production costs and excellent in decorativeness, by a method wherein the circumferential rim of a top plate is drawn downward at almost the right angle, a side wall is wound around the drawn part, and the contact face between the inside face of the side wall and the circumferential face of the drawn part and an overlap part or butt joint part of both ends of the side wall are stuck with glue. CONSTITUTION:By a drawing process using a male and female dies, a top plate 110 having a specified size is drawn downward at almost the right angle to form a drawn part 111. A side plate 120 is wound around the drawn part 111 and the contact face between the circumferential face of the drawn part 111 and the inside face of the side wall 120 and an overlap part 121 of both ends of the side wall 120 are stuck with glue to produce a lid 100 for a paper cup. As the side wall 120 is wound and stuck on the circumferential face of the drawn part 111 of the top plate 110, the lid 100 can be produced at lower costs. In addition, there is no diagonal seam of a spiral pipe on the side wall 120 of the lid 100 for a container, so that it is excellent in decorativeness. |
