1289246 Gas burner JUNKERS & CO GmbH 22 April 1971 [23 April 1970] 10757/71 Heading F4T A linear gas burner comprises a single elongated main burner tube 11 having a row of burner orifices 12 for the formation of main flames and at least one further burner tube 13, 14 arranged parallel and in close proximity to the main burner tube 11 and having a row of burner orifices for the formation of auxiliary flames to prevent lift-off and assist combustion of the main flames, the gas supply 17 to the main burner tube and the gas supply 18 to the further burner tube or tubes from an expansion chamber being adjustable independently of one another. An adjustment may be provided for varying the height of the main tube 11 relative to the further tubes 13, 14. An assembly of several parallel such linear burners may be formed in which all the main tubes have a common supply line (19) (Fig. 2, not shown) and all the further tubes have a common supply line (20), each line having a tap (21, 22) for variation of supply. |
