<p>PURPOSE:To surely perform recording without damaging the head part of an information signal by starting transmission of the information signal with a sufficient passage of time until the recording operation of a recording system is stabilized. CONSTITUTION:In a recording device 300, a rotary drum 50 and a magnetic tape 60 are operated in order to start recording. However, it takes a long time until the operations are stabilized and normal recording is allowed. Therefore, in a transmission system 100, after a recording permitting signal 171 is outputted dummy data 178 is transmitted for a specified time T, a transmission signal 196 is sent from an interface circuit 11 after this time T, a header 176 indicating the head of the signal is sent and then a compressed signal 177 is transmitted. Since normal recording is already started in the recording device 300, the header 176 is surely recorded.</p> |
