<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate maintenance by opening a normal close contact in a circuit protective relay when a current higher than a predetermined level flows and interrupting power supply to the relay coil in an electric equipment driving relay through a control section when the circuit protective relay is opened thereby eliminating fuse and design restriction. CONSTITUTION:When a control switch 6 is turned ON, a control section 11 feeds power to the relay coil in a relay 5 to chose the normal close contact of the relay 5 so as to feed power to an electric equipment 1. When the electric equipment 1 is short-circuited and the load current exceeds the driving current of a relay 10 to close the normal close contact, power supply to the relay coil in the relay 5 is interrupted. According to the constitution, power supply to the electric equipment is interrupted upon short circuit thereof without requiring a fuse resulting in protection of the circuit.</p> |
