PURPOSE:To attain a fixation temperature in a time shorter than a time necessary to energize a heat source from the beginning even in the case the fixation is not executed for a comparatively long time, and also, to save the power consumption. CONSTITUTION:A time from the end of fixing a paper to the acceptance of the following fixation demmand is counted by a demand waiting time counting means, and the temperature of a heating roll is controlled by a 2nd temperature control means so that it may be comparatively slowly made lower as the time passes. In a figure, (t0) to (t1) denote the temperature control at a fixation time, (t5) to (t6) denote the control at a standby time so as to keep the temp. slightly lower than the temp. at the fixation time, and (t6) to (t7) denote the control of slowly decreasing the temp. In this case, the temp. rises again when a printing demand is obtained at (t7). |
