PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical fluorescent lamp apparatus which can be assembled with high workability, is advantageous from a view point of the cost, and as a whole is economical. SOLUTION: This apparatus comprises a circular fluorescent lamp installed horizontally and a lower side light transmissive cover 5 to cover the lower half side of the circular fluorescent lamp. Further, the apparatus comprises an upper side light transmissive cover 1 to cover the upper half side of the circular fluorescent lamp. The outer circumference flange part 6 of the lower side light transmissive cover 5 and the outer circumference flange part 2 of the upper side light transmissive cover 1 are joined up and down to each other. Further, circular ornamental frames (composite members of 7, 12) are so arranged in the rim parts 6, 2, which are joined up and down to each other, of the outer flange parts as to wrap the outer circumference sides of the rim parts 6, 2. The circular ornamental frames 7, 12 comprise a plurality of short members 7 to be arranged at equal intervals along the outer circumferential flange partsjoined rim parts 6, 2 and a plurality of long members 12 to be arranged in respectively neighboring short members 7. In this case, joining rim connecting parts 9 to be elastically connected with the outer circumference parts-joined rim parts 6, 2 are installed in respective short members 7. Further, short member connecting members 13 to be elastically connected with the short members 7 corresponding to respective end parts of the respective long members 12 are installed. |
