PURPOSE:To parallelly perform a data input processing and a data editing processing in a system for inputting file data and performing editing. CONSTITUTION:By providing a communication protocol for enabling data input from a character recognition device 20 while a host device performs data editing between the host device 10 and the character recognition device 20 and confirming status information on the side of the character recognition device 20 by the host device 10, the data input processing and the data editing processing are parallelly performed. |
