<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sell goods in a vending machine by a portable telephone. <P>SOLUTION: The portable telephone calls up a repeater comprising a telephone function, provided within the vending machine, and the called up repeater transmits the portable telephone number as the customer information and the repeater number as the management information to a management center or portable telephone company as a management medium. The management medium determines whether goods in the vending machine can be sold or not for the portable telephone number and accordingly sends a signal of permitting or not permitting of selling of the goods to the repeater. The repeater controls a goods selecting means and a goods selling means in the vending machine according to the signal. When the vending machine is in a goods selling state, if the user completes goods selection, the repeater notifies the management medium of completion of goods selling and releases the selling state of the vending machine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
