<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel excimer laser ocular surgery system. <P>SOLUTION: A method for controlling a laser ocular surgery system includes (a) a step of determining a profile of a cornea in a first position, (b) a step of forming a digital data file corresponding to the profile of the cornea, (c) a step of forming an excision shot pattern file for a course of a laser shot corresponding to a desired correction of the cornea in a second position from the digital data file, (d) a step of transmitting the excision shot pattern file to a laser system of a third position, (e) a step of receiving the excision shot pattern transmitted in the third position as a received excision shot pattern, and (f) a step of shooting a shot pattern corresponding to the shot pattern detected in the received excision shot pattern by giving an instruction to the laser system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
