An apparatus for detecting the damage of a tool and identifying connection states of elements is provided to improve the efficiency of working and productivity by preventing faults in advance. An apparatus for detecting the damage of a tool and identifying a connection state of elements includes a body unit(10), a tool touch unit(20), and a CRT(Cathode-Ray-Tube) screen unit(30). The body unit comprises a mounting plate(11), a drive cylinder(12), a first guide(13), a second guide(14), and a photo sensor(15). The drive cylinder is fixed on a top surface of the mounting plate and a ball joint is fixed on an end of a lower part of the drive cylinder. The photo sensor is fixed on the mounting plate and installed upward and downward on a sensor bracket(151) perpendicularly formed on a side surface of the drive cylinder. The tool touch unit comprises a proximity sensor(22), a first guide bar, a second guide bar, and a compressing spring. The proximity sensor is installed on a side surface of a fixing bracket(21) installed on the mounting bracket by the sensor bracket and a sensor cover is attached on a top part of the proximity sensor. The compressing spring is coupled with the first and second guide bar between ball bushes(231) and touch bars(232). The CRT screen unit is installed at a predetermined distance of the detecting apparatus and includes an alarm device of an alarm sign function and a buzzer.
