The device indicates when the centrifuge has been filled with sludge to a certain level. Two components, orientated in two different positions and adjusted to a certain time-difference of the fluid separated by, and flowing out of the centrifuge, sense the condition or properties of the liquid. The two readings are compared in a unit that sends a signal when the difference between the two reaches a pre-determined magnitude.
