PURPOSE:To improve the external apperance of a door by forming an air bag accommodation part by covering the underside of a cut window formed at the joint part between a back-up plate and a door trim upper part by a door affiliated part and covering the upper side by an ornament, and holding the upper edge of the ornament by the lower edge part of the door trim upper part, CONSTITUTION:A door affiliated part 4 is installed on a door trim body 1, and on the inner surface of a door inner panel 3 on theupper side, a back-up plate 6 is fixed, and at the upper edge of the joint part with the door trim upper part 2 of the door trim body 1, a cut window 8 is formed at the place corresponding to the opened port part of the back-up plate 6, and an air bag accommodation part 10 is formed by covering the cut window 8 by an ornamemt 9. The underside part of the ornament 9 is fixed between the door trim body 1 and a door affiliated part 4, and the upper edge is brought into contact with the upper edge of the door trim body 1. In collision, the ornament 9 is pressed through the expansion of a bag body 12, and the cut window 9 and the opened port part of the back-up plate 6 are opened. |
