PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer having a long lifetime and an easy-to-manufacture roll in which a linerless print sheet can be fed out in stable state from a roll thereof at the time of printing, printing can be resumed stably even after long term interruption and such good print characteristics can be sustained for a long term. SOLUTION: The printer comprises a print mechanism 2 for forming ink information 26 on the surface of a linerless print sheet 1 having an adhesive layer 12 formed on the rear surface of a basic material 11 to be printed, and a carry roll 21 for feeding out the sheet 1 from a roll 13 thereof and carrying the sheet 1. Ink information 26 is formed on the sheet 1 by means of the print mechanism 2 while carrying the sheet 1 through the roll 22. The roll 21 carries the sheet 1 while touching the adhesive layer 12 and at least the surface of the roll 21 is formed of a silicon rubber containing silicon oil.
