PURPOSE: To prevent destructive breakdown generated at the parts of a high voltage terminal of a double terminal ignition plug. CONSTITUTION: An ignition coil is provided with a magnetic core and a primary coil 20 and a secondary coil wound on the magnetic core. At least the secondary coil is wound on tube-like secondary bobbins 30 and 31, and the primary coil 20 is arranged in the secondary bobbins 30 and 31. The secondary bobbins 30 and 31 are closed on the sides of high voltage terminals 35 and 36 of the secondary coil. |
