PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an oblique motion of a rolled paper by which the step of rolled paper guides which regulate both side surfaces of a rolled paper housing section is caught, by a simple mechanism. SOLUTION: In a rolled paper housing section 9 of this rolled paper printer 1, rolled paper regulating plates 31 and 32 which are urged inward by a tensile coil spring 37 are arranged at upper vicinity positions of the rolled paper guides 28 and 29 which are arranged at farthest positions from a printing position B. These rolled paper regulating surfaces 31a and 32a can come into contact with the outer peripheral side sections of the end surfaces 10b and 10c of a rolled paper 10. In pulling-out motion of a recording paper 10a from the rolled paper 10, when the recording paper 10a shifts in the width direction, the recording paper 10a hits the rolled paper regulating surfaces 31a and 32a, and the recording paper 10a is prevented from being greatly displaced in the width direction by the spring force of the tensile coil spring 37, and the recording paper 10a pulled out is prevented from resulting in the oblique state.
