PURPOSE: To prevent a light leak from a light emitting element from being detected by a light receiving element undesirably by optically shielding the light emitting element and light receiving element which are arranged successively by a light shield member. CONSTITUTION: An electronic pocketbook has a main body case consisting of an upper case and a lower case where various electronic components are stored and is equipped with a communication device at the front end of the main body case, and the communication device consists of the light emitting element such as an infrared light emitting diode and the light receiving element 13 which uses a photodiode, etc., as an infrared sensor. Then the light shield member 14 is provided between the pair of the light emitting element and light receiving element 13 which are arranged side by side. The light shield member 14 is provided at right angles to a substrate 11 to prevent the light emitting element and light receiving element 13 from being affected by light from the opposite elements. The light emitting element and light receiving element 13 are covered with a visible-light cutting translucent filter 10 from outside. |
