Wire feeding device for arc welding - with wire held between two feeding discs and freely rotatable rollers on adjustable cam levers

Device consists of a driven feed roller and a pressure member made up of four freely rotating rolls (28) supported in pairs on a small cam lever (27). The two small levers are in turn mounted on a bigger cam lever (25) which is supported on support frame (14). This frame can rotate freely about axis (15) which is perpendicular to support rib (3). The other end of frame (14) has an axis which is perpendicular to axis (15) and is mounted inside case (18) which in turn is fitted to spring (19) biased pin (20). This pin pushes into the side of elastic case (16) which is mounted eccentrically about axis (17) also fixed to rib (3). The feed roller is made up of a support disc (8) and pressure disc (9) which have bevelled inside edge to receive the wire. USE/ADVANTAGE - In arc welding. Ensures the same pressure is applied by all the feed rollers onto the wire independ on the wires diameter.
