PURPOSE: To substantially decrease the exposure or irradiation time and espe cially to obtain a printing plate suitable for projection exposure or laser expo sure. CONSTITUTION: A photopolymerizable recording material having a photopolymerizable layer containing a polymer binder, an ethylene type unsatd. compd. having at least one end-molecular ethylene type double bond which can be polymerized with radicals free, and a metallocene compd. as a photoinitiator is irradiated for an image and then heated in a short time. The recording material is exposed to visible rays of at least 400nm wavelength for a short time before irradiation of image, at the same time of irradiation or after irradiation without a document, and then developed. |
