PURPOSE: To form a pre-pit on both of a land part and a groove part by forming the pre-pit so as to divide either one side between the inner peripheral side and the outer peripheral side of the land part. CONSTITUTION: The pre-pits 4 extends to the disk inner peripheral side, and a part thereof arrives at the area of the groove 2. On the other hand, the pre- pits 4 are provided with a temperate size in the outer peripheral side, and never arrive at groove part 2 exceeding the area of the land part 3. Thus, only the inner peripheral side of the land part 3 is divided by the pre-pits 4. In such a case, by using the information of the pre-pit formed on the land part as it is when the information of the land part is read, and by using the information detected by cross talk from the pre-pit formed on the land part when the information of the groove part is read, the pre-pits are formed on both of the land part and the groove part. |
