PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably continue combustion without stopping supply of gas to a burner even when pressure in a combustion chamber is increased momentarily at the time of igniting the burner. SOLUTION: A dishwasher is provided with: a hot water tank 1 for reserving rinsing hot water for rinsing dishes after being washed with a cleaning liquid; the combustion chamber 4 for combusting gas with the burner 2; a heat exchange 5 which is arranged in the combustion chamber 5 for exchanging heat with the rinsing hot water linked with the tank 1; a blowing fan 3 for sending combustion air into the combustion chamber 4, a wind pressure switch 7 turned on with negative pressure generated by the flow of air of the blowing fan; and a combustion frame detector 9 for detecting the combustion flame of the burner 2. In a controller of a booster for the dishwasher like this, feeding of gas to the burner is normally stopped for safety when the wind pressure switch 7 is turned off after ignition of the burner 2, but this controller ignores an off signal of the switch 7 in a period from the start of ignition operation to the detection of the combustion flame by the detector 9.
