摘要

A frame type indoor unit of an air conditioner is provided to minimize resistance of spiral air flow while the spiral air flow passing through louvers of discharging grilles, thereby reducing noise and increasing blowing efficiency. A frame type indoor unit of an air conditioner includes a case(10), a turbo fan mounted in the case for discharging room air inhaled via a suction hole of the case to a room via discharge holes of the case. A plurality of louvers(R) are mounted to the discharge holes and guide spiral air flow blown by the turbo fan. The louvers are mounted slant by a set angle in the spiral air direction for smoothly passing the spiral air flow through. The angle is determined to minimize resistance in the spiral air flow considering size, rpm and rotation direction of the turbo fan.
