摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the frequency temperature characteristic and to decrease the capacitance ratio. SOLUTION: An exciting electrode 22 is formed to both sides of a thin square piezoelectric crystal langasite (La3 Ga5 SiO14 ) 21, l1 in the length in a direction of X axis (broadwise direction), l3 in the length in a direction of Z axis (lengthwise direction) and (t) in the thickness. The piezoelectric crystal langasite 21 belongs to the trigonal system, equal to a crystal, and belongs to the point group 32, then the vibrator is realized as a Lame mode vibrator where four corners are nodes of vibration by setting properly a crystal cut angle of the crystal. A linear temperature coefficient a is zero and the frequency temperature characteristic is improved by selecting the crystal cut angleθto be 45 deg., the cut angleϕto be 10 deg. or 110 deg..
