The magnetic matrix is made up of an iron oxide and iron powder ink mixture in a flexible organic substance. The matrix is printed onto the packaging which is to be protected. After ink application and drying, the molecules are oriented by the passage of an electric field, so that the matrix can be detected at a cash desk or at the shop exit.
